If I am injured while riding my bicycle in Florida, can I sue the driver that hit me?

Transcript:

Yes. Just like the victim of a motor vehicle crash where there’s two or more motor vehicles involved, the victim of a bicycle accident can also bring a claim and sue the at-fault party. For example, if you are riding your bicycle in your neighborhood or somewhere in your community, and the operator of a motor vehicle is negligent, runs through a stop sign, runs through a red light, fails to pay proper attention and just strikes you while on your bicycle, yes, you can, under Florida law, bring a claim and ultimately file a lawsuit if necessary against that driver or that at-fault party and perhaps other persons or entities as well that caused or contributed to the unfortunate bicycle accident you are a victim of.
