What Should I Do if the Insurance Company Offers Me a Check Right Away in a Car Accident Case?

Video Transcript

You should contact us. You should not sign any type of release with any insurance company before consulting with us. This is a tactic that I see often used by insurance companies to try to get matters resolved for 5%, 10%, 20% of the true value of your claim. Although they may tell you that you’re saving money by not hiring a lawyer, statistics actually prove that claims resolve for a much, much higher amount when a lawyer gets involved to protect your legal rights. So before you sign anything and before you deposit any type of check from an insurance company, you should speak with us first.
