Yes, you certainly can. You can go to the hospital from the scene of the accident, not in an ambulance. You can go that evening, you can go the following day, you can go a couple days later. The important thing to note in the state of Florida is that, from the moment the crash occurs, you have 14 days to go seek medical treatment to ensure you don’t prejudice, or eliminate your Personal Injury Protection benefits, your PIP benefits on your own auto policy, but after any motor vehicle crash, if you’re experiencing pain or any other type of symptoms, you should seek medical treatment as soon as you possibly can. If that’s by an ambulance from the scene, that night or the next day, you should go.
