Jeffrey Martz Joins Smith, Ball, Báez & Prather Injury Lawyers as Associate Attorney

Before joining Smith, Ball, Báez & Prather Injury Lawyers, Martz worked as an Assistant State Attorney (County Court Division Chief) for the State Attorney’s Office – 15th Circuit. As Assistant State Attorney, Martz prosecuted cases and obtained guilty verdicts ranging from simple battery to aggravated assault with a firearm.
Martz graduated from Florida State University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and received his J.D. Degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2019 (cum laude).
Before turning to law, Martz was with the Boca Raton Police Department from 2012 to 2016. Martz received numerous accolades, including Officer of the Month twice and multiple firearms awards. Martz’s family is deeply rooted in Palm Beach County. His father (and mentor) served Palm Beach County as an Assistant State Attorney and Judge for over 20 years, and his mother is a docent at the Boca Raton Museum of Art.
